Obituary for Jennie Mark Neal

Jennie Mark  Neal
Mrs. Jennie M Neal, a respected and prominent citizen of Harper City, Maryland County, Liberia, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Sunday, November 27, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones.

After completing nursing school in Monrovia, Jennie returned to Maryland County, Liberia to serve her people for over 50 years. At JJ Dosen Memorial Hospital, Harper City, Liberia, she worked in different roles and served as the director of nurses until her retirement. Jennie was also an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Harper City, Liberia.

She is predeceased by her husband, Filmore Robert Neal, her son Bennie Neal, and her brother Charlie Mark.

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Mark; her children, Inez Yancy-Paye, Doris Yancy-Rademacher, Richard Neal Sr., Ernest Neal Sr., Juanita M. Caulker, Judson Neal, Margaret Neal-Stubblefield, Arlene Neal-Blibo; her grandchildren Jennie Marqueh Beysolow-Bushrod, Richard Neal, Ernest Neal Jr., Richard Neal Jr., Comfort Neal, Judson Neal, Jema Stubblefield, Andreas Rademacher, Prince Neal, Taniqua R. Russ, Franklin Neal, Charlyn Neal, Robert Blibo, Judson Neal II, Ryan Neal, Nia Blibo, Jeffrey Blibo, Farmer Stubblefield, Judson Stubblefield; her great-grandchildren Erik Jr and Inez-Mae Bushrod, Haleya, Elana, and Ki’ Neal, her nephew, Alex Thorpe; her niece, Wannie Mark; and a host of foster children, other relatives and friends in Liberia and the United States.

May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 9-10:30a.m. at All Saints’ Church, 14851 Gideon Drive, Woodbridge, Virginia. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Harmon officiating.

Interment will take place immediately following the mass at Buckhall Cemetery.
