Condolences

Condolence From: Janet Lambert Smith
Condolence: I met Harold at a West Point dance while I was attending a neighboring high school and knew him for a brief time in 1981. Now as 2018 comes to a close, he was brought back to my remembrance. I am sad to discover of his passing in 2016. And although I knew him for only a very short season when he was very young, I was impressed by him at the time. He was a gentleman; soft spoken and with a bright smile. My condolences to his family and friends.

Wow! what a life, just think of what he could have done with another 40 years. My Big Brother, My Father Figure you will be thought of and missed everyday for the rest of my life. Words can never explain what a great brother Harry was. He married a great woman and they had 3 beautiful, intelligent and strong children. I know that you children will be Harry's greatest Legacy because of your Father's great wisdom and inspiration. Keep doing what you have been doing and your fathers words will lead you in the right way. I love you and remember that Harry will always be in your life and watching over you.

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time. Harry was a true gentleman and great friend. He helped my sons like many others in their pursuit to one of the service academies and served as a great mentor. Whether I was working with him on SAAB or meeting at a lacrosse game I was officiating he always met you with a smile and friendly gesture. He will be greatly missed by us all, but his legacy will live on. As a fellow West Pointer let it be said Well Done Be Thou at Peace. May God shine his face upon your loved ones and grant them his peace
