He helped restore a 1965 Chevy Impala SS that was his wife’s grandparent’s car that won best in show for the Wounded Warrior Project in July 2014 that was a proud moment for them both. He also enjoyed traveling, tarpon fishing in Florida and bass fishing.
Don was a very caring man and would give the shirt off his back to a total stranger. He loved his wife and family, Lola and Midnight, his two beautiful rescued dogs and his friends very much. The family wants to thank everyone for their well wishes, prayers and visits to Don. He will be missed terribly. He is at peace now with a lot of his family members.
Don’s wishes were to be cremated and requested not to have a service and his wishes will be honored.
